How do I book a car?
Choose a vehicle and click “Book on Turo.” Enter your dates on Turo to see live availability, review pricing, and complete your reservation. You can also use our trip planner to prepare your dates first.
Where can I pick up the car?
We serve the Austin area. Available pickup and delivery options vary by car and trip. Check your selected Turo listing for locations and any fees before booking.
What is included in the rental?
Mileage allowances, charging requirements, protection options, and any additional fees depend on the vehicle and booking terms. Review those details before confirming a reservation.
What do I need to rent?
Turo handles driver eligibility and booking requirements. Review the requirements shown for your selected car and complete Turo’s verification before your trip.

Host-provided trip guidance. Final fees and applicable policies are confirmed through Turo.
How do I access the vehicle?
You'll receive a Tesla virtual key through the Tesla app before your trip. You can unlock, lock, and locate the car directly in the app.
How do I find the car?
The exact location is visible in the Tesla app. You can also flash the lights or honk the horn to locate it easily.
Do I need to recharge before returning?
Yes — please return the car at the same charge level as pickup. If you'd rather not recharge, you can add the Prepaid EV Recharge add-on.
How charged will the car be at pickup?
The car will be charged and ready at pickup, typically 80–90 percent.
Battery Return Policy
Return the car at the same charge level as pickup.
Prepaid EV Recharge: $30.
Returned near empty without add-on: $70–$100 recharge fee may apply (covers charging time and charging costs).
Is airport delivery available?
Yes! Austin-Bergstrom (AUS) delivery is available for $50. Delivery is free for trips of 1+ week. Parking fees are separate.
How many miles are included?
Daily mileage is included based on your booking. Need more? Add the Unlimited Mileage option for peace of mind.
Does the car have Autopilot?
Yes, standard Autopilot and Full Self Driving are available. Drivers must stay attentive at all times.
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
No — smoking or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited.
What happens if I return the car late?
Please return the vehicle on or before your scheduled end time to avoid additional charges and to ensure the next guest isn't impacted. If you think you may be running late, message me in the app as soon as possible.
What if the car is excessively dirty?
Please return the car in reasonably clean condition. Excessive dirt, spills, sand, pet hair, or stains may result in a cleaning fee of $75–$150, depending on severity.
What happens if the battery runs out?
Guests are responsible for monitoring battery level during their trip. Towing or roadside assistance caused by a depleted battery may be charged to the guest per Turo policy.
What if I get a ticket or toll?
Guests are responsible for all parking tickets, traffic violations, and tolls incurred during the trip. These may be billed after the rental ends.
Are there airport parking fees at pickup?
Yes. Parking fees are $14–$30 depending on the garage.
